In honor of the 250th anniversary of St. Louis, locally-owned Tree9 Films decided to give a little back.
Tree9 Films specializes in promotional films, and is run by husband and wife team Ria & Chadwell Ruthsatz.
"We love creating films that build brands and products through television and social media, but we wanted a way to promote awareness for charities that are changing our city and don't always have the budget to support large marketing campaigns."
Friends of Kids With Cancer was chosen as Tree9's first charity film project.
Charities around St. Louis submitted themselves for consideration, and Tree9 asked the community to select a winner. It was their hope that beyond creating just one film, this project would help people learn about each of the charities participating and encourage them to give a little more and get involved.
"We had a wonderful time working with the incredible team at Friends of Kids With Cancer, and meeting the amazing children whose lives they are touching."
Friends of Kids With Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of, cancer and blood -related diseases. Their mission is to be an advocate for these special kids and provide them and their families with the educational, emotional, and recreational support needed as a result of the long hours of chemotherapy, illness and isolation.
"We're really excited for this project, and we're working on other ways we can help promote St. Louis and its local businesses."
